Mental health and physical health are two peas in a pod and they go hand in hand. Whenever I feel like I am in a rut or just in a "low vibrational space" (that's what I like to call it) lol, I like to do some form of self care to put me back on track so that I can feel grounded and raise my vibrations. My tips and tricks work very well for me, so I decided that I wanted to share them with you!
Having different routines
I am a pretty routine person, and everything in my life has to be on a schedule. However, life does not always go smoothly and I like to have routines that allows me to still handle my important tasks while also giving myself a little extra TLC.
Meditation
Muting the world and taking a breath really makes a big difference when you're just having a moment. It's okay to not know where to start because there are plenty of videos and apps that can help you. The free meditation app that I like to use is called Soothing Pod and they have plenty of guided meditation videos, relaxing sounds and songs to take you to your place of relaxation.
Sleep
Sleep is the key to better health. Try going to sleep an hour earlier for a week and see what difference it makes for you.
Exercise
Exercising increases blood flow throughout your entire body and it is also a great way to focus your tension or stress in a positive way. Try to do some form of exercise for at least 15 minutes per day, I promise you won't regret it.
Self Care
Doing some form of self care and loving on yourself a little more than usual is never a bad idea, especially if you are not feeling your best. Make sure you are planning days to focus on you so that you can cater to yourself throughout the month.
Gratitude
Remembering how blessed I am always makes me feel good. Get a mason jar and some paper to write things you are grateful to put inside of the jar and read for later when you are having a bad day and need a pick me up.
